Hard work, attention to detail, and quality writing and design paid off for the staff of the Englewood Pirateer as several journalists won awards from the Colorado Student Media Association. The students submitted their best work in news, sports, and design back in February. They went up against 11 other schools of our size. In all, a total of 1,205 entries were judged: 68 videos, 610 news, 595 yearbooks
