Their voices were strong and right on key. Englewood High school choirs traveled around the state taking part in events and competitions to prove their talent.

ETC and Expressions Choirs hit the road to Fort Collins to take part in this year’s UNC Greeley Jazz Festival.  Not only did students perform before state and national judges, they had the opportunity to hear and meet a vocal Jazz legend. ETC brought back top ratings of a “I” and a “II” for their performance. “I” is Superior, and “II” is Excellent.
Two days later, all EHS Choirs, trios, duets and soloists had a fine showing at the CHSAA Solo & Ensemble Music Contest held at Overland High School.
The following 8 entries received Superior (“I”) ratings:   ETC and Select/Expressions Choirs, duet Gabe Gravagno and Marta Mansbacher, and soloists Charlotte Peterson, Andy Rivera, Ashleigh Long, Savion Romero and Chris Uriarte.
The following 6 entries received Excellent (“II”) ratings:   EHS/Lady Pirate Singers, trio Kilgore Shattuck, Alexi Graves, and Bria Look; duets Brandy Alba and Alexi Graves, along with Adriana Miceli and Marcos Lucero.  Soloists include Adriana Miceli, and Bria Look.
