Students enjoy final dance

It was tuxes, long flowing dresses and smiles for those attending the 2017 EHS Prom. It was held at the Lake House at Cherry Creek. It is a right of passage for seniors who get to finish their high school years with a party. “The set up was dope! I loved the view over the lake,” says Roman Albright (12).

Students are talking about the increased attention to the safety of students, “It’s going to be more monitored then last year. Security and administration will be more strict and won’t let kids mess up the prom,” Josiah Huizar (12)

Some students have waited until their senior year to take this leap, “Exciting because its my last one, I know what to expect and already know what to do to make reservations. I’m sad because it’s my last dance of high school I’ll be relaxed because I’m going to prom with people I have know since kindergarten,” says Stephanie Ramirez (12).
