Students with the EHS Honor Society gathered close to 2000 pounds so families in Englewood could have a bountiful Thanksgiving.

The students donated to four locations (HOPE, House of Hope, Interfaith, and Church of Christ) and each location got about 500 pounds of food. Food drives were held at two King Soopers locations on November 18th.

Honor Society officers in charge were Dylan Carpenter and Haley Eickmann.
“It was one of the most successful community service projects that I have ever been a part of. The best part was that several families had donations just in time for Thanksgiving,” Dylan Carpenter (12) said.

“We were determined to make it the best food drive this school had ever had,” Haley Eickmann (12) said.
