Did Desjardins give himself a donut test? Last year”s draft he used a 2nd round pick on a fullback/H-back (Gosselin) who didn”t play at all in a part-time position in their offence; and he used a 4th round pick on a long-snapper (Bourassa) only. In doing so, he passed on an outstsanding DE prospect like Kwaku Boateng who ended up playing well as a rookie on the Esks D-line; and a couple of very good (IMO) young MLB prospects in Chris Mulumba and Jordan Herdman both made the rosters and played for the teams that did draft them. The RedBlacks currently have nobody proven at MLB and a couple of ex-Rider mediocre DEs pencilled-in for playing time I would guess. Maybe Desjardins should open his eyes a bit wider to the possibility of Canadian talent getting to compete for playing time in areas of need his team has, and not just mostly think “depth or special teamers. At least he got Ilnicki as the last pick of the draft last year we”ll see if this outstanding Canadian tailback gets an opportunity to help there (and yes they have a good back in Powell, but lots of good football teams use more than one RB and deploy a lot of the offensive talent on the roster) or is just viewed as a back-up or special-teamer only. Maybe aim a bit higher and broader in the draft I”ll suggest to Desjardins like a good selection of quality donuts. ;o) generic cialis
