Serving up success

“I believe tennis is a fun program for people who just started the sport and is overall a great experience,” says Mason Lores, a freshman at Englewood High School. The girl’s tennis team started practice late February and finished the season in early May. The team has nearly a dozen members. Their biggest challenges came from the powerhouse serves of Vista Peak and Discovery Mountain. All of the players worked really hard this season. They didn’t win a lot of matches but learned from their mistakes and grew stronger as the season progressed.
