Many students and staff are very excited to see underdogs in the NFL playoffs. Three of the four teams in the AFC and NFC championship games having never won a Super Bowl.

We now know the Eagles and the Patriots are headed to the Super Bowl 52.

The games Sunday included the Jags vs the Patriots and the Vikings and the Eagles.

Vikings vs Eagles:
Vikings fan Brady Andrews (10) is disappointed his team didn’t advance, “I’m a fan of the Vikings because of my step mom who passed away when I was 6.” The Vikings game was a blow out where the Eagles took it 38-7. Teacher Scott Silva is excited his team is so strong, “It’s gonna be tough without Carson Wentz, and it’s been tough to get to the point that we’re at now. I’m a fan of the Eagles because I have family in Philadelphia and I used to spend summers there as a kid and go to Phillies and Eagles games.”

Patriots vs Jags:
Some students say the refs struggled to keep balanced penalties for both teams and the Patriots only had one penalty the entire game. Some students are tired of the Patriots success. “I think we could beat the Patriots and go to the super bowl. I feel like we have a good chance because we have the number 2 defense in the NFL. I’m a Jags fan because my hometown is Jacksonville,” Zack Cave (9) said. Others like to see the team in the title game again, “The Patriots chances of getting to the super bowl are very high due to the elite players the team. I’m a fan of the Patriots because I grew up watching them,” Angel Villarruel (10) said.
