How has your life changed with all of this happening? Well, I can’t go to work at my job until this virus blows off. So I’m just sitting at home, playing video games, watching tv, doing chores around the apartment and doing online schooling while I collect unemployment.

How do you feel about online schooling? I feel that online schooling is not all bad but sometimes I would rather be at actual school, so I could get into deeper learning and understanding for my classes.

Do you miss seeing your friends? Yes, I do because using Zoom to talk with my friends isn’t the same as in school but at least I don’t leave home while this pandemic is going on and play my video games 24/7.

How have you been staying safe? I clean the apartment whenever it’s dirty by wiping everything down with bleach wipes, mopping and vacuuming the floors as well as washing my hands every time I clean or use the bathroom.

How do you keep yourself busy? If I don’t have chores or schoolwork to do, I play video games on my computer, ps3, Wii u, Nintendo switch or ps4, and watch tv.

What are your thoughts on the postponing of the prom? I almost thought prom would be canceled because this will be my 1st and last year to go prom and I want to make the best of it.

Did you already spend money preparing for prom? Yes, I spent money on a tuxedo blazer, a tie, a white shirt, black pants, and dress shoes.

How do you feel about not being able to have your last spirit week? Honestly, I forgot everything about the spirit weeks we have in the past years of high school, so the spirit week might not even be that exciting.

Are you upset the location of prom might change? I’m not totally upset about the location for prom might change but I’ll still like it to be at the Denver aquarium but if it changes I’ll be fine because this is my 1st year to go to prom.

What are your thoughts on the postponing of graduation? Again, I almost thought graduation would be canceled because some other schools and colleges have their graduations for students canceled but I’m still glad we seniors get to walk down the aisle.

What is your biggest frustration with the postponing of graduation? As of right now, the biggest frustration with postponing graduation is to find out the day we are going to have that ceremony.

Are you glad the last day of school will still be May 8th? Yes, I am glad our last day will still be May 8th and not be postponed like prom or graduation.

Is there anything you’re worried about with not being at school to finish the rest of the year? The only thing I’m worried about is when can we turn in our Chromebooks and chargers once school is over. We also still need to find out if we’re going to get our yearbooks.

What are you going to miss the most about not being able to go back? I’m going to miss the farewell assembly for us Seniors that the school does every year but at least we still got prom and graduation ceremony.

Is there anything you regret or are happy that you did before school was released? I kinda regret that I thought that we could end the year without the COVID-19 virus affecting it because the school year was so close to ending and I was being positive even when places were closed down.

Do you have anything else you want to address regarding the situation we are in? Well, one thing I could address is how we seniors are going to do the graduation speech auditions if it’s going to be postponed or we just sent it online.
