They make it look effortless, but the cheer team puts in a ton of hard work to make it look that way.
You may have seen their hard work pay off at the Homecoming football game. Senior Brooklyn McCann loves being a cheerleader and is a role model to all the new athletes, “I think it looks pretty good. We have a good team, I think.”
McCann said she’s been cheering her whole life but took a break her junior year. She came back her senior year.

Freshman Brooklyn Russo says the cheerleading season, “is very interesting and active.”
Russo is in her first high school cheerleading squad, but she’s been cheering, “on and off since I was 8 years old.”
