It’s official! The Homecoming theme has been revealed, and it’s going to be Haunted Mansion! This is one of those rare years when Homecoming lands in October, so student leaders decided to lean all the way into the spooky vibes. Expect creepy costumes, haunted halls, and themed dress-up days that’ll give you goosebumps in the best way.

Homecoming kicks off the last week of September, so stay tuned, we’ll have more details and surprises as the date creeps closer…
HOST 1:
Let’s talk about dance eligibility. To attend Homecoming or any school dance this year, your attendance rate must be 75% or higher for the current semester. No excuses!
HOST 2:
And here’s a bonus: If your attendance is 95% or better, you’ll get into the dance for FREE. So show up, show out, and keep those numbers up!
HOST 1:
A lot of you are rocking those bright orange name tags — which means… You forgot your ID. Quick reminder: IDs must be worn at all times on campus. No ID = no bueno.

Also, our EHS Cell Phone Policy is still in place: phones should be off and out of sight during class unless your teacher says otherwise. Keep it academic, pirates!

Seniors — mark your calendars! On Wednesday, September 10, there’s a Graduation Meeting with Herff Jones. Every senior needs to be there. No cap. Literally.

Also: Retake Day is happening Friday, September 16th, but only from 8:45AM to 11:45AM — don’t miss your shot!

Let’s talk sports — the Pirateer.com has all the results from last week, including our varsity football team’s 63–6 blowout win over Hinkley! And the boys varsity soccer beating Lake County, 8-0.
Also, if you’re into wrestling, open rooms are happening every Monday and Tuesday from 5:30–6:30 PM. The season is creeping up, so get mat-ready!

Planning to go to a game? Remember: You need your physical school ID to get in for free. That means no photos of your ID and no asking staff to look you up. Bring it or buy a ticket!
