HOST 1:
It’s official! The Homecoming theme has been revealed, and it will be Haunted Mansion!
Let’s run through some of the important dates you need to know.
There will be a Powderpuff Rules Meeting on Wednesday. Sept. 24-
Seminar Hallway Decorating: is Saturday, Sept. 27 from 9:00-2:00
Powderpuff Practice is Wed. October. 1- 6th- 2:20-3:30
Powderpuff & Bonfire is Oct. 1 @ 6:30
Hoco Game: is Oct 3rd at 7pm
And the Hoco Dance: is Oct 4th
HOST 2:
Keep an eye out for powderpuff sign ups this week if you want to participate on Oct. 1st!
Remember, Powderpuff participants must be sports-eligible to participate.
Hallway Decorating will take place September 27th from 9am-2pm. Each class will have their own hallway to decorate. Everyone is welcome to show up on the day to lend a hand! Not to mention that Hallway Decorating counts as Community Service!
HOST 1: Also, Pirates, get ready to start a brand-new tradition! Join us on October 1st as we welcome the Class of 2038 into our Pirate Community! Before the Powderpuff game, our Englewood Kindergarteners will join us on the field. They’ll line up in the middle, and we’ll meet them halfway to exchange our Pirate spirit! All students who come out will receive a free Englewood Pirate rubber bracelet!
Host 2: And now, your dress up days for Homecoming! Monday, is Monster day, Twin day is Tuesday, Sports day is wednesday, Adam Sandler day is Thursday and friday is class colors.
HOST 1: Let’s talk about dance eligibility. To attend Homecoming or any school dance this year, your attendance rate must be 75% or higher for the current semester. No excuses!
HOST 2:
And here’s a bonus: If your attendance is 95% or better, you’ll get into the dance for FREE. So show up, show out, and keep those numbers up!
Host 1: Seniors, please remember that throughout the month of September, you need to get into the Futures Center and sign up for a FAFSA ID number. This is really important no matter what path you choose. Heidi Stone, the Career and College Counselor, tells us more.

Technology Student Association, your Englewood High School Engineering Club, is meeting at lunch on Mondays in room 1110. Come join the fun as we elect officers for the year and discuss our annual Halloween fundraiser!
Host 2: Do you have a scientific mind? You could design a cool science project or experiment and present it at CU Boulder. Everyone is welcome to try. See Ms Wulf for more information on how you can take part in this exciting opportunity. She is in room 1111.

Let’s talk sports — this week, soccer is away against Alameda International on wednesday, Varsity football is away against alameda International on friday at 7pm, then saturday, cross country takes on Lyons and softball has a double header at home against arvada and middle park. Softball games start at 10am.
Boys and girls interested in wrestling, open room has moved to Mondays , every Monday 530-630pm

Planning to go to a game? Remember: You need your physical school ID to get in for free. That means no photos of your ID and no asking staff to look you up. Bring it or buy a ticket!
