Englewood girls softball put up a good fight in the game against Denver North.

The game took place on home turf Friday.

Englewood had a strong start to the game with four runs in the first inning. Denver North grabbed two runs. However, EHS was not able to get any more runs for the rest of the game. Denver North scored in the first, second, sixth and seventh innings. Englewood did not recover and went on to lose 9-4.

EHS softball plays again Monday, August 27 against Standley Lake.
