At the start of the school year 2023-2024, Sarah Davis made a career adjustment from Englewood High School culinary teacher to our new counselor to people with last names L-Z. Davis has now been at EHS for more than 10 years.
We recently interviewed Davis on how her year is going so far, “It’s been good. I love being a counselor, more than a culinary teacher.” Davis says that she is still adjusting and some things are new, “I’ve been a part of the school and had a pretty good idea but there are still some things that are new that I’m still learning and figuring out how to do.”
Davis says that now it is more work but it’s different work than being a teacher, “I have no doubts that this was the right move for me to go back to school and to become a counselor.”
Davis has a husband and two children who are in elementary school.
