The Englewood Pirates boys varsity basketball team won the home non-conference game Friday night 78-57. This game puts the Pirates at 3-6 for the season and 0-1 in league play. Players say the game was easier than other games this season as they felt better prepared.

The varsity team plays again Wednesday against Denver West. It is a home game that starts at 7pm.
