Hi and welcome to the Englewood High School announcements for the week of April 20th,

Congratulations to Mr. Emery and the band for a huge win this past week. We had a chance to talk to a Senior band member about the event.

College In Colorado is gearing up for College Friday on Friday, April 21. Support our students’ decision to continue their education, whether it is at a college, university or certificate program. Wear your favorite college gear on Friday, April 21!

 

Just a reminder to all seniors, if you have received a scholarship, please give this information to Ms. Plautz in the counseling office. We talked to Ms. Kominsky about why going for and getting a scholarship is so important.

Seniors are you interested in speaking or singing at graduation? The sign-up sheet for an audition time is in the main office. Auditions will be on Wednesday, April 26th after school. Here’s Mr. West with more information. (roll)

 

The yearbook class is selling the 2016-2017 yearbook. It is only $45! Seniors, don’t miss the chance to get your last yearbook! You can order the yearbook from Ms. Shotts in room 1112. If you have already ordered a yearbook, you can pick it up at the Luau in May.

 

In sports, Girls soccer won Tuesday against Fort Lupton. Girls tennis played hard but lost to the same team.

the lacrosse team takes on Kennedy tonight. The team is confident it can bring home a win. Jonah Bricker plays JV and swings Varsity when there are injuries. He says the team has been a great experience.
