Their job on the field is to hit, catch, run and make home runs. That does not happen every time, every game. What does happen every game is friendship. The girls’ softball team is 3-10 on the season, but they are always having fun. They are like a family. Junior Feliciana Maldonado has played softball for a few years, “been playing for three years.”  Maldonado plays second and third base. She believes that this year is going to be a great season, “I am excited to be with my teammates and have fun with them again.” Senior Maggie Swank plays pitcher and outfield, “Heck yeah I am excited for this year.”  Swank says plays and gets better every day, “I am excited to spend time with my teammates.”
