(ethan) Wrestling season got underway and athletes are already winning matches.

In the recent matchup at the Skyview Invitational, Junior James Sharp, wrestling at 182 pounds, took home 3rd place. He says, “The season has been going well. The team is larger than last year. They added more JV this year. A big difference this year is it’s faster paced.” The very next match, Sharp took first place at the 2018 North Vikings Invitational. Sharp went a perfect 4-0 on the day and pinned his opponent in the finals to win the 182 lb weight class. Israel Lopez and Ezekiel Ashlock also continued to gain valuable varsity wrestling experience as they added two more matches under their belt.
