EHS students begin classes in-person and online
It is finally here. The first day of classes at Englewood High School and the air was filled with excitement and enthusiasm.
The smiles and laughter were hidden behind masks, but it didn’t diminish the “first day of school” feeling for many students. Ninth and tenth graders were the first to arrive, staying 6-feet apart on “x’s” marked on the ground near several separate entrances to the building. Students checked in, got their temperatures read, and headed off to class.
It is a year like no other but many say they are just happy to be back behind a desk, ready for whatever the year brings.
