I’m Karen Ruiz, I’m a Junior, class of 2018.

I was born in Chihuahua Mexico, and I’m almost 16 years old. My hobbies are to play sports, and photography. I really like playing soccer, and basketball. I have a family of 6 (including me), and I’m the second oldest from my brothers. I’m also the only girl out of my siblings, and the rest of my family is in Mexico. My family and I came to the U.S. in 2011, and it was just to visit some of my dad’s family, but at the end, my parents decided to stay, and let us go to school to get a better education.
